After Scottie Scheffler picked up another title at the Travelers Championship last week, the PGA Tour now heads to Detroit, Michigan, for the Rocket Mortgage tournament. Action gets underway today, Thursday 27 June and runs through until its climax on Sunday 30 June.
The event, taking place at the Donald Ross-designed Detroit Golf Club, first took place in 2019, and could prove useful practice as we build towards the Open Championship in late July. Unlike some recent tournaments, the Travelers aside, this course and the conditions are likely to offer some really low scoring. Note that four of the five tournaments to date have seen a winning score of at least 23-under.
