The Twins are adding to their rotation by signing right handed pitcher Chris Archer on a one-year deal worth a minimum $3.5 million, but various incentives can top him out at $9.5 million.
The #MNTwins have signed pitcher, @ChrisArcher22 to a 1-year deal!Welcome to Minnesota, Chris!

Archer, at 33 years old, saw only six appearances last season with Tampa. He accumulated a 4.66 ERA on just 19 innings pitched. He had missed the entire 2020 season with injury after recovering from surgery. Prior to his heath woes, he was a two-time All Star and the Twins are clearly pinning their hopes on him having that kind of performance left in him yet.
Chris Archer and the Twins have agreed to a one-year, $3.5 million deal, first reported by ESPN.The deal is worth up to $9.5 million with bonuses. \
